Sustaining Community

BRIDGE’s mission is to strengthen communities and improve people’s lives, beginning–but not ending–with affordable housing. If you have a stable, safe place to come home to, that opens up doors to better health, better opportunities and brighter futures. By combining affordable housing with community-centered placemaking and resident services, we are making a difference in people’s lives.

Residents enjoy urban gardening on the fifth floor of Celadon at 9th & Broadway in downtown San Diego.
BRIDGE partners with the best providers in the field to bring programs to residents for free, such as the fresh food bank at North Beach Place in San Francisco.
Kai Ming, a comprehensive preschool co-located at North Beach Place, serves qualified residents as well as neighbors from the surrounding community.
BRIDGE scholarship recipient Brandon Pierce-Johnson and his wife, Jessykah, are working hard to build a bright future for their family.
